2021 – 2023 | Erasmus+ KA220 project | 2020-1-CZ01-KA226-VET-094350
The COVET project addressed the urgent need for vocational education and training (VET) institutions to innovate their teaching, training, and mentoring methods in response to the technological and social changes accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognising that VET teachers must adopt new roles – such as e-learning designer, technology specialist, and content coach – to effectively deliver quality online education, the project focused on developing their digital and pedagogical competencies. It aimed to equip VET educators with the necessary skills and digital tools to design and manage engaging virtual training, ensuring they could meet current and future demands of digital VET delivery.
The main output is a comprehensive continuous professional development (CPD) training program tailored for VET teachers and trainers. This program is based on a detailed analysis of the evolving needs related to online teaching and virtual classroom management. It offers practical guidance, instructional materials, and examples to support VET educators in embracing their expanded roles and mastering the digital tools essential for high-quality online training delivery, thus improving the learning experience for both trainers and learners.
All the materials created within this project are available to the public for free.
