The HolUp Project aims to holistically upskill SMEs, VET institutions, and VET providers to prepare them for future work demands in the digital era. By addressing the evolving job market needs and the competencies educational organisations must teach, the project bridges the gap between current skills and those required for tomorrow’s workforce. HolUp supports SMEs in developing their future workforce while helping VET institutions enhance their role in shaping skilled employees, ensuring alignment between education and industry demands in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
Key outputs include a comprehensive gap analysis report identifying disparities between existing and future competencies in partner countries, and a Holistic Approach Guide offering strategies for upskilling and workforce planning through multi-level governance. The project also delivers a self-paced Open Online Course (OER) designed to provide flexible, high-quality training that meets evolving enterprise and skills needs, empowering both SMEs and VET providers to build effective communication and collaborative relationships for sustainable workforce development.
All the materials created within this project are available to the public for free.
