October 8 – 12, 2018 | Erasmus+ KA1 project | 2018-1-LT-01-KA102-046688
As part of an Erasmus+ KA1 mobility project, vocational teachers and training organisers from Panevėžys Labour Market Training Centre (Lithuania) participated in a short-term job-shadowing programme hosted in the Czech Republic by ProEduca. The programme focused on innovative approaches to integrated lesson planning and delivery in vocational education and training (VET).
Participants engaged in hands-on training in Czech vocational schools, exploring the use of virtual reality and ICT in integrated teaching. They were introduced to various integration methods, including thematic lessons, work-based learning, digital storytelling, and physical activity as a unifying tool. The visit also included guided development of individual integrated lesson plans aligned with specific vocational training programmes.
Through these activities, participants enhanced their creative thinking, ICT competencies, and lesson planning skills. They also gained experience in managing the integration process within multidisciplinary teams and improved their English communication skills, particularly within the context of VET and education technology.
For ProEduca, the visit strengthened international collaboration and opened doors to potential future partnerships. The tailor-made programme served as a successful model of professional development and cross-border knowledge exchange in vocational education.
