What is this programme about?

STEMulate is designed for children and young people aged 10–15 who are curious about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and want to explore the exciting careers these fields offer. Participants take part in a series of hands-on workshops, each based on a different STEM profession, where they learn what people actually do in these roles and the skills required – from creativity and problem-solving to collaboration and curiosity. The programme introduces a range of STEM careers, including green and sustainable roles, highlighting the diversity of opportunities beyond the familiar image of engineers or mathematicians.

Who is the programme for?

The programme has been designed for elementary/secondary school students aged 10-15 years old. 

What will you gain from this programme?

During this programme, students will:

Explore a variety of STEM professions, including lesser-known roles, and understand the skills they require

Engage in hands-on activities that replicate real-world STEM tasks

Develop problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration skills

Build confidence and curiosity to pursue STEM further

Understand how STEM skills apply to real-life challenges and everyday situations

Programme organisation

Duration: 5 or 10 day programme.

The programme covers the following topics:

  • Introduction to STEM careers and diversity in the field
  • Hands-on activities across engineering, coding, environmental science, robotics, and data analysis
  • Exploration of soft skills like collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving

Location: České Budějovice and Prague.

Language: The course will be held in English language.

Travel days: one day before and after the course term.

Price

Course fee: The price includes the course fee and all training materials. 

Individual subsistence costs: The price includes accommodation for the duration of the course (full board), all transportation within the Czech Republic, and any selected cultural activities.

Please note, the price does not include flight tickets to and from Prague. 

Our pricing follows Erasmus+ regulations, but we will provide a tailored quote once we receive your enquiry.
