Walk and Talk is a dynamic teaching approach that combines physical activity with the learning process. By engaging in movement – such as walking – while discussing or reflecting on educational content, learners benefit from increased oxygen flow to the brain, which enhances concentration, memory, and overall learning effectiveness.
This method is particularly valuable for older learners, as it helps counteract age-related declines in cognitive function. However, it can be successfully applied in any educational setting, whether for full sessions or selected activities within a programme. The Walk and Talk method offers flexible possibilities, adapting to a variety of physical activities that support active, engaging, and effective learning.
This course is designed for teachers and trainers who are looking to bring fresh, creative approaches into their teaching. It is ideal for educators who want to engage learners in more dynamic and effective ways by incorporating movement into the learning process.
The course is grounded in the Walk and Talk methodology and draws on our extensive teaching experience, as well as insights gained through international research collaborations.
