What activities were carried out during the visit?

Short-term job-shadowing activities in vocational schools with focus on planning and design of integrated lessons:

• - practical training of the use of the virtual reality and ICT application in integrated teaching/lessons in the VET training;
• - training of different appraoches and methods of integration: thematical lessons, work-based learning, digital storytelling, physical activitiy as an integrating tool;
• - training of the plan design of integrated lessons in VET training.

What knowledge, skill and competencies did participants acquire?

During the visit the teachers gained or developed the following personal and professional job-related skills:

• - creative thinking for the planning of the integrated lessons;
• - use of the phone applications and other ICT tools suitable for the effective integrated leeson plan and management;
• - creation of an individual plan of the integrated lesson, choice of appropriate subjects in particular professional training program.

Partcipants acquired also some personal and professional organizational skills:

• - managing the process of development of the integrated lesson in VET;
• - setting up an individual plan for the integrated lessons;
• - managing the integrated lesson within the professional training program.

And finally the communicational skills:

• - specific features of the communication in the multi-discipline team during the process of design, plan and management of the integrated lesson;
• - all activities were carried out in English language and the participants consequently developed their vocabulary in the field of integrated education and related practical topics.
