About the Project

ACCESS 2 aimed to tackle the spread of climate misinformation by equipping school children with environmental critical thinking skills. By teaching students how to assess the credibility of climate-related information, the project encouraged them to make informed decisions and become active, responsible participants in the fight against climate change. It also supported teachers with the tools and training necessary to embed these skills into everyday classroom learning.

Project Outputs

The project produced a curriculum centred on microlessons that teach the science, impacts, and solutions related to climate change, while encouraging critical evaluation of environmental information. It also included teacher training and instructional materials alongside a digital platform to share resources and foster a community of educators, students, and families committed to sustainability and climate literacy.
