Critical Thinking in Real Decisions

A scenario-based programme that builds better judgement and decision-making in everyday situations—online and offline. Participants learn how to think more clearly under pressure, compare options, and avoid common traps.

Adult learners who want stronger decision skills for daily life and work—especially in an environment full of information overload and persuasive messaging.

By the end of the training, participants will have learned:

• How to recognise typical thinking traps (emotional reasoning, false certainty, “quick fixes”)
• How to ask better questions and check assumptions before deciding
• How to evaluate evidence and sources in a quick, practical way
• How to compare options using simple decision frameworks
• How to discuss disagreements respectfully while staying fact-focused

It strengthens autonomy and resilience: participants make better choices, feel less manipulated, and handle uncertainty with more calm.

Duration: 5 training days.

Learning methods: workshops, active involvement of the learners, learning-by-doing, group learning, facilitation.

Location: České Budějovice and/or Prague.

Language: The course will be held in English language.

Travel days: one day before and after the course term or according to the mutual agreement with the sending organisation.

Course fee: The price includes the course fee and all training materials. 

Individual subsistence costs: The price includes accommodation for the duration of the course (full board), all transportation within the Czech Republic, and any selected cultural activities.

Please note, the price does not include flight tickets to and from Prague.
