GreenComp in VET

A programme on embedding sustainability competences directly into vocational subjects—so “green” skills become part of everyday professional practice rather than an extra topic. The focus is on concrete learning tasks linked to materials, energy, waste, safety, and quality.

VET teachers, trainers, and school staff who want to integrate sustainability into practical training across vocational fields.

By the end of the course, participants will have learned:

• How to translate sustainability competences into job-relevant learning outcomes
• How to design practical tasks that teach resource efficiency and responsible choices
• How to use simple system thinking tools to show impacts and trade-offs
• How to assess green competences in realistic ways (evidence in work tasks)
• How to create a small classroom/workshop project that builds learner ownership

It makes sustainability teachable and measurable inside vocational training. Teachers gain ready-to-use task formats that strengthen employability and align with evolving workplace expectations.

Duration: 24 teaching hours – spread into 3 days.

Location: České Budějovice and/or Prague.

Language: The course will be held in English language.

Travel days: one day before and after the course term or according to the mutual agreement with the sending organisation.

Course fee: The price includes the course fee and all training materials. 

Individual subsistence costs: The price includes accommodation for the duration of the course (full board), all transportation within the Czech Republic, and any selected cultural activities.

Please note, the price does not include flight tickets to and from Prague.
