Interactive Learning Design for Adult Educators

A hands-on programme focused on designing adult learning that is active, visual, and engaging—without requiring complex technology. Participants learn how to convert content into interactive tasks and materials that increase participation, understanding, and transfer into real-life practice.

Adult education trainers, facilitators, instructional designers, and programme staff who want to improve learner engagement and create modern learning materials for face-to-face, online, or blended delivery.

By the end of the training, participants will have learned:

• How to choose interaction types that match learning goals (practice, reflection, decision-making, collaboration)
• How to design strong scenarios, mini-cases, and problem-solving tasks for adult learners
• How to create visual learning materials (one-page explainers, activity sheets, prompts) that support clarity and inclusion
• How to build simple interactive exercises and short quizzes that support learning—not just testing
• How to structure a session so interaction feels natural and purposeful (timing, instructions, facilitation, debrief)

You leave with a toolkit of ready-to-use formats and at least one complete interactive learning sequence you can implement immediately. The programme reduces preparation stress while improving learner motivation, participation, and learning retention.

Duration: 24 teaching hours – spread into 3 days.

Learning methods: workshops, active involvement of the learners, learning-by-doing, group learning, facilitation.

Location: České Budějovice and/or Prague.

Language: The course will be held in English language.

Travel days: one day before and after the course term or according to the mutual agreement with the sending organisation.

Course fee: The price includes the course fee and all training materials. 

Individual subsistence costs: The price includes accommodation for the duration of the course (full board), all transportation within the Czech Republic, and any selected cultural activities.

Please note, the price does not include flight tickets to and from Prague.
