ProEduca

Job Shadowing for ADU Teachers

Observing and co-developing modern adult learning: microlearning, digital design, AI workflows, and micro-credentials.

What is this job shadowing about?

A structured job-shadowing experience where adult education staff observe how ProEduca designs, produces, and implements learning programmes and materials. Participants do not only “watch” — they join selected steps of our workflow and leave with concrete drafts, templates, and an implementation plan adapted to their organisation.

Who is it for?
  • Adult education educators and staff, such as:

    • Trainers, facilitators, and course leaders
    • Instructional designers and content developers
    • Programme coordinators / quality staff
    • Organisations upgrading digital delivery, microlearning, or recognition of learning outcomes
What can participants observe at ProEduca?

Participants can follow the full “from idea to classroom use” cycle, including:

1) Needs-to-design workflow

  • Clarifying target group needs and constraints
  • Defining outcomes and structuring learning pathways (short formats, blended formats)

2) Microlearning production

  • Storyboarding micro-units and writing learner-friendly scripts
  • Turning content into practical activities and reflection prompts
  • Quality checks (clarity, inclusivity, time realism, learning transfer)

3) Interactive learning design

  • Building scenario-based tasks and practice activities for adults
  • Creating visual learning materials (one-pagers, worksheets, guidance for facilitators)
  • Designing short quizzes and “learning-by-doing” exercises

4) AI-supported course creation (advanced level)

  • Prompt patterns for course design and content drafting
  • Rapid iteration with quality control, fact-checking, tone consistency
  • Adapting outputs to different adult learner profiles (mixed levels, low digital confidence)

5) Micro-credentialing and light assessment

  • Defining evidence for learning outcomes (simple, realistic proof of learning)
  • Badges/certificates logic, portfolio ideas, feedback routines
  • Practical implementation: minimum documentation, sustainable workflows

6) Evaluation and improvement routines

  • Collecting feedback that is useful (not only formal)
  • Revising materials based on pilot data
  • Reporting-ready monitoring routines for projects and programmes

How can participants cooperate (hands-on involvement)?

Depending on their goals, participants can co-work on:

  • Redesigning one existing session into a microlearning sequence
  • Producing one complete adult-friendly micro-unit (content + activity + facilitator notes)
  • Creating a small set of interactive tasks for a chosen topic
  • Building a simple micro-credential prototype (outcomes + evidence rules + rubric/checklist)
  • Setting up an internal “production checklist” and templates for their organisation
  •
Focus tracks (choose 1–2)

Track A: Microlearning & engagement (formats, activities, blended delivery)

Track B: AI productivity for educators (advanced workflows + quality assurance)

Track C: Micro-credentials & recognition (light assessment, evidence, implementation)

Track D: Digital/media literacy & critical thinking (adult-friendly teaching methods)

Typical structure (flexible 2–5 days)
  • Day 1 – Orientation & mapping: your context, goals, and observation plan
  • Day 2 – Shadow the workflow: from outcomes to micro-unit design + first draft
  • Day 3 – Production & interaction: materials + activities + facilitation/debrief techniques
  • Day 4 – Recognition & evaluation: micro-credentialing, feedback tools, improvement loop
  • Day 5 – Transfer to your organisation: implementation plan, risks, next steps, toolkit pack

Shorter mobilities focus on one track; longer mobilities combine two tracks.

What will you take home?
  • A ready draft you can pilot (module/session plan + materials outline)
  • Reusable templates (structure, activity formats, quality checklist)
  • A clear workflow you can implement with your team
  • An individual transfer plan (what to do in the first 30 days after mobility)

Added value: discussion sessions and local programme.

Each mobility includes structured reflection and Q&A sessions (daily or every second day). A light afternoon programme can be included (culture / nature-based learning examples) to support reflection and informal exchange.
