Micro-Credentialing & Light Assessment in Adult Education

Courses and training for adult education teachers. To register your interest for this programme, please get in touch.

What is this programme about?

A practice-oriented programme on how to recognise and evidence adult learning in a way that motivates learners and remains realistic for providers. Participants explore micro-credentials (badges/certificates), evidence collection, and “light” assessment methods that support learning without creating heavy administration.

Who is the programme for?

Adult education trainers, programme designers, quality managers, and organisations that want to improve completion, motivation, and recognition of learning outcomes—especially in short courses, blended formats, and skills-focused programmes.

What will you learn from this programme?

By the end of the training, participants will have learned:

  • How to define clear, measurable learning outcomes suitable for micro-credentials
  • How to design light assessment methods that feel fair and useful for adult learners (performance tasks, scenarios, portfolios, reflection evidence)
  • How to create simple evidence and feedback systems that work in short or modular courses
  • How to align micro-credentials with skills frameworks and organisational quality processes
  • How to implement micro-credentialing in a sustainable way: workflows, templates, and minimum viable documentation
Why is this programme valuable?

It helps you increase learner motivation and retention while improving the credibility of your programmes. You leave with ready-to-use templates (outcomes, rubrics, evidence checklists) and a practical implementation model that can be applied immediately.
