About the Project

ASAP (A Systematic Approach to Social Media and Pre-Adolescents through Thinking Skills Education) supports the healthy and conscious use of digital and social media among school children. Recognising that kids today are digital natives navigating a rapidly changing online landscape, the project focuses on building metacognitive and critical thinking skills. It encourages intergenerational dialogue about the role of digital media in shaping identity, relationships, and emotions, helping schools become inclusive spaces where social media literacy is actively developed.

Project Outputs

ASAP delivered a transdisciplinary research study on pre-adolescents and their relationship with social media, forming the basis for an education model and training programme for schools. These tools address both the potential and the risks of digital media use. All outputs can be found below, on at www.socialmediakids.eu.
